More Information

The month of May is Cancer Awareness Month! Join Miles That Matter, a month-long walking challenge from May 8 through June 8, where your daily steps help fuel precision cancer research. Walk on your own or form a team, and invite friends and family to make a gift.

Your support directly funds the Timothy A. Johnston Fund for Precision Medicine Research at the IU Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center in Indianapolis. This is a different kind of cancer treatment—one that focuses on the individual. Precision medicine looks at each patient and their specific tumor, identifying what’s driving its growth in real time and matching it with targeted therapies. It’s personalized. It’s powerful. And it’s changing outcomes.

Walk your miles. Rally your supporters. Turn every step into life-saving research.
